Each of the Candie Paws walkers go through an extensive two week training program and must have their pet aid certificate before they begin caring for your companion. We service King West, Queen West, CityPlace, Liberty Village, Harbour Front and Parkdale.

Olga L

Olga is originally from Moscow Russia, she moved to Toronto Canada in 2014 with her husband and 4 year old son. She has been a full time walker at Candie Paws since February 2018. "I have always been in love with all kinds of animals growing up. Dogs, cats, birds, rodents even goats!!" "When I was a kid we had a family dog, but it was never enough for me I always walked my friends dogs and played with strays who lived in our neighborhood." Olga's love for animals quickly grew into a career as a vet technician where she worked for many years in Russia. Once she moved to Toronto she took sometime off to spend with her family and raising her son. Her favorite hobbies include, spending time with her family, reading, hiking and swimming.

April is a New Brunswick native who has live in Toronto for over 8 years now. She has a passion for musical theatre and does Karate in her spare time. As a life long animal lover, she loves getting to work with them everyday.

Khes B

Khes has grown up in Toronto her entire life. She has always loved animals more than anything the world. Throughout her life, she has had 3 pet dogs separately and 3 hamsters at the same time. Currently Khes is live with 3 cats and 2 baby rats. Unfortunately because of the cats she can not own a dog of her own. But it is something she would love and hope to do in the near future. Khes is currently a full time student at OCADU studying Graphic Design. She is hoping to one day turn this career path into a way of helping as many animals as she can. She also believes that they deserve the best that life has to offer.

Ross L

Ross is originally from Alberta. His family did not have dogs growing up, but his best friends did and he developed a fondness for them and animals in general at a young age. Since moving to the Toronto area in 2009, Ross has worked in customer service positions and often pursued writing on the side. He has two dogs of his own, both rescues from other countries: Winifred, a 6-year-old Whippet-Formosan Mountain Dog mix from Taiwan, and Trudy, a 2-year-old Jack Russell/Hound mix from Mexico. Ross enjoys bringing both dogs to nearby dog parks and taking the more sociable Trudy on long walks around the city.

Diana is 26 years old and from Colombia. She came to Canada seeking personal growth and to expand her knowledge in the world of advertising, which is one of the topics she is most passionate about. Diana considers herself a responsible, committed, and respectful person who always gives her best. Diana finds happiness in learning something new every day, She is amazed by the little things, and believes that there is no better feeling than being connected with animals and nature. She enjoys taking care of each pet as if it were her own, forming strong bonds and having fun with their unique personalities.

Meet Karishma, a passionate dog sitter who moved from Kenya to Canada in 2015. Alongside with her love for photography and dance, she had discovered a deep passion for caring for furry friends. With 2 years of hands on experience pet sitting for both family and friends, Karishma is well versed in providing attentive and personalized care. She also understands the importance of capturing special moments, which is why she enjoys taking candid photographs of your adorable companions during their time together. Rest assured your pup will receive the utmost attention, affection  and responsible care they deserve while you’re away!
